Faheem Rasheed Najm was born on September 30, 1985, in Tallahassee, Florida.
He is known by his stage name T-Pain, a short form of Tallahassee Pain. Although he was raised in a Muslim family, he lacked an interest in the idea of religion.
At the age of 3 years, he developed an interest in music. He was allowed to spend his free time in the music studio of Ben Tankard.
Later, when he was 10 years old, he had a four-track recorder, a keyboard, and a beat machine to record his own lyrics in his room.
